CA Pizza Hut Fires All Delivery Drivers as Wages Rise to 

which collectively operate hundreds of restaurants, have decided to lay off 1,200 in-house delivery drivers. 

A notice under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN)  

was filed with the Employment Development Department of California by PacPizza LLC, which operates under the name Pizza Hut.

The notice stated that the company has made a business decision to eliminate first-party delivery services,  

which will result in the elimination of all delivery driver positions.  

Another company that has announced layoffs is Southern California Pizza 

Company, which will have an effect on around 841 drivers across the state.
